" This, the first in a series of British cartoons in colour, is a clever and
effective piece of work. Stanley Holloway delivers his famous monologue, from which the
film gets its title, in his own inimitable manner, and the drawings synchronize perfectly
with the words. The gags are bright and the colour work flawless. This short has both
novelty value and selling angles, and can be cinfidently recommended as
featurette".
